Wow...i can't believe how long i've been silent...well, i guess 5 months is a good amount of time to pass.  sadly, i've been busy, and i've started moonlighting which is a whole story on its own.  i'll save that for another day. 

i'm in philly this weekend celebrating isaac's graduation from dental school.  another DMD in the family, and there's still one more!  sam will be starting at upenn dental in the fall, so he'll be a DMD too.  i guess i can't help but think of alumni thoughts since i've reunited with my family for my dad's 30th reunion from dental school on top of isaac's graduation.  it's pretty crazy over here, upenn goes all out.  school pride i guess.  it makes me think of how many reunions in my life i've missed.  for instance, i can't believe it's been 10 years since high school.  i haven't really stayed in touch with many people since then unfortunately.  after high school people moved away while i stayed in vancouver for college.  but i get curious about where people are, what have they done over the last 10 years?  it would be cool to reunite with people, but vancouver is pretty far away.  gosh, it would be sad if i waited until my 20th! 

i have to say, i'm pretty proud of isaac and what's he's accomplished and been through.  we've always been neck and neck, hecka competitive with each other in almost everything...school, sports (although he surpassed me in that area since i don't play ice hockey, but i may have some edge in ultimate!), winning recognition and accollades.  i think it's because we're 15 months apart and there's always been a basal level of sibling rivlary.  but when i take a step back, see the big picture, i am truly happy for him and everything that he's done.  hmm...i'm getting sentimental now. 

anyways, i'm glad that i'm here celebrating with my family.  congratulations isaac.
